This has been an exceptionally busy week at school with the children being involved in many fun-learning opportunities. This has ranged from the tri-golf event to some children going to St Boniface for the day and then some of our reception class being involved in balanceability sessions every day. As you are all aware we also had a two-day Diocesan Canonical Inspection where two inspectors visited the school and took part fully in all learning experiences, met with the children and interviewed many members of the school community. Message from Mrs Anderson… Thank you to all of you who joined us this morning for the CAFOD Race for Women event. It was brilliant seeing all of the children both walking and running and challenging themselves to go further, in their sporting mufti. The children were very enthusiastic about taking part and supporting. It made it even more special having both parents and grandparents supporting the children. Summer Term 2015

Message from Mrs Anderson… I hope you all had a lovely half term with your families. I have heard about some fun days out and holidays from your children! This is looking like a very busy term with so many things we all want to fit in before we break up for the summer. Well done to the year 5/6 rounders team who went to an event at Stoke Damerel on Wednesday, they were a great team and gave their all to the games. I know Mr Woodgates was very proud of them all. A huge well done to Freya, who raised £140 last weekend in the Skyride. That is a great achievement Freya, we are all very proud of you.
