Beautiful Harvest Mass

Message from Mrs Anderson… Yesterday was a very special day with our Harvest Mass. A big thank you to those who joined us for the Mass, it always makes it very special when family, friends and parishioners join us. A huge well done to all of the children who lead us in prayer, readings, sang harvest songs and whole school hymns- the singing was beautiful. Thank you for all the gifts of food that you contributed. Many of you joined us for the refreshments and cake sale organized by years 3 and 4 following the Mass. This was a huge success and all monies raised are being donated to CAFOD. The money raised at the last count was over £180, that is absolutely fantastic- well done everyone. B

Autumn term update 2

Message from Mrs Anderson… It has been a very busy week in school with the children getting fully engrossed in learning within their new themes. There is a great deal of excitement and curiosity about this learning and the children are eager to talk about the learning. Next week we will be sending out details about clubs that will be starting in school- there are a range of opportunities for the children. Please join us on Thursday for Harvest Mass- this will be at the normal time of 9.30am. As we have requested in the letter we would value any gifts of food for the Harvest display. These will then be donated to the Shekinah mission in Plymouth. As you all know we would like to invite you

Back to school

Message from Mrs Anderson… It has been wonderful to see the children return to school this week so excited and enthusiastic. They have all looked so smart and appear to have grown up enormously over the summer holiday. I have heard many stories about great holidays and experiences during the break. Staff have been very busy over the summer break ensuring the school is looking good and completely organised for the children- thank you to each and every one of them. A very big welcome to our new staff, Mrs Barnes, Miss Hill, Miss Strong and Mr Couch who have settled brilliantly into their new roles in school. You will all have the chance to meet them next week at the ‘Class Open Evenings’. T
