Week 3- Exciting learning!

London Experience What a busy week for years 4 and 5- they had two days in London on Tuesday and Wednesday! On Tuesday morning at 8.15- we had 44 very excited children in the school hall really looking forward to their visit. The children stayed at the Chessington Safari hotel, it was very exciting looking out of our bedroom windows and seeing giraffes and zebras. On day 1 we went for a panoramic City tour, stopping at Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square. Following that they had dinner at Bella Italia, from there we walked through Covent Garden to the Theatre where we saw ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’. New school year...

Message from Mrs Anderson… I am delighted to be able to welcome you all back to another school year following a hopefully enjoyable summer holiday with your families. It is wonderful seeing the children come back looking so smart in their new uniforms- The staff have been very busy getting the school and curriculum ready for the new classes. During the holiday we have had more decorating in the school, the year 1 and 6 classrooms together with the canteen areas have been painted. Achievements at St Paul's

We are very proud to be able to tell you about our latest achievements. At the end of the school year we heard that we had successfully achieved our 'Silver Sports Mark'- this is superb. The team have been really developing the opportunities for sport at St Paul's over the last two years and this recognises the hard work and dedication of the staff, together with the commitment and enthusiasm from the children. During the holiday we also received an email informing us that that we were successful in securing the Bronze Healthy Schools Quality Mark.
