Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Here we are at the end of another term, and what a busy and exciting term this has been for everyone. The children have been fully engaged in their learning, showing enormous enthusiasm and curiosity. This has been a lovely week, watching the foundation and key stage 1 children retell the Christmas story with us- these performances are always very moving. Key stage 2 then led a beautiful Carol Service, great singing by everyone. Yesterday was Christmas jumper and dinner day, what an amazing collection of jumpers! Advent is here...

What an exciting time of year we have entered, with the first Sunday of Advent last weekend. The children were very excited yesterday with advent calendars, Christmas decorations and trees going up in school. Such a magical and special time. This evening will see the start of the festive period with the school Christmas Fair- please come and join us. There will be lots of fun things to do for all ages! As you are all aware Mrs Potterton will be leaving us at Christmas to take up her promotional move in the City.
