The children all looked very smart as they came to school this morning for their school photographs. I am sure that you will agree that the photographs are of a very high quality and will make lovely Christmas presents.
The week has been very active with the children all starting their clubs- it has been a hive of activity after school.
Congratulations… Sports Mark
As a school, we have successfully achieved the Bronze Sports Mark. Well done and thank you to Miss Hill for finalising the submission to the awarding body. Next year we will be striving for the Silver Award.
As a school we are very proud of the uniform and the presentation of our children. Recently we have seen a decline with the uniform worn by some of our children. We are seeing the wrong coloured skirts/pinafores or footwear. The expectations for the uniform are..
Girls: Navy blue pinafore/skirt, navy blue sweatshirt or cardigan
Summer- Blue summer dresses- ideally dark blue school dresses.
Boys: Grey trousers or shorts, navy blue sweatshirt or jumper.
Foundation/KS1- polo shirts KS2- white shirts with the school tie
Shoes: No trainers, school shoes for all children (flat heeled)
If you are having difficulty getting navy blue pinafores or skirts both Next and Marks and Spencer sell them.
We are selling the school tie so if your child does not have one the school office has them in stock.
Thank you for your support with this, it is really important that all children follow the expectations for uniform.
Mrs Morris has been in touch with the school about the annual Shoebox Appeal. The following is a message from her…
Once again our Parish/School will be putting together shoeboxes for distribution overseas. Anyone may help in a number of ways:-
Putting together a family box.
Putting items into the box in the main entrance.
Contributing towards postal costs for each shoebox. This will be £3 this year. Donations can be sent to school in a sealed envelope marked for ‘The Shoebox Appeal.’
Thank you for your continued support with this worthwhile cause.
