Message from Mrs Anderson…
Thank you to all of you who came in this afternoon and shared your children’s learning on e-safety and anti-bullying. The children have been very active carrying out a range of learning experiences linked to these areas. A really good text that they have used is ‘Chicken Clicking’ it is very thought provoking for all ages. There will be lots of examples of the learning shared on the year group pages of the school website- www.stpaulsplymouth.com.
On Monday, we have our annual open afternoon for prospective new parents to our school at 2pm. If you know anyone who might be interested please can you share the information so that they can find out about the school and meet the staff and some of our children.
As you are all aware Mrs Chapman has been on maternity leave for nearly a year. She is loving her time with Rowan and has decided that she does not want to return following this time. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs Chapman for all her hard work and commitment while she was with the school and wish her hours of special times with Rowan. Miss Maunder has been teaching the class during this time and will remain with the school until the end of the school year. She has been doing a superb job with the class.
Attached to this week’s newsletter are the annual parent and pupil surveys. Please can you take some time to complete these, as we really value your feedback on our school. It is vital for us as a leadership team to have regular feedback that we can act upon. Thank you for your support with this.
Children In Need…
It was wonderful to hear a buzz of excitement on Monday when the children saw our very important visitor- Pudsey! Thank you for your support with the donations for the cake sale on Monday. Today has been another fun day with the children coming to school in spotty clothes. We will let you know how much we have raised altogether this year in the next newsletter. Thank you to Mrs Rice for organising everything.
