Message from Mrs Anderson...

The half term holiday is here again, we have been so lucky with the amazing sunshine this week that we are all hoping that it will continue next week so that you can all enjoy it. We hope that you can all create some amazing memories together as families. As we are fully into the summer term now it is ok for the children to fully move to their summer school uniform. There is no need for the children in key stage 2 to wear ties unless they want to! I know that some of the school council want to wear them still!

As so many of you were aware, last week was year 6 SATs week. I wanted to give a little ‘Shout Out’ for our amazing year 6 pupils who persevered throughout the week. Their attitudes were superb and I know the whole team were extremely proud of every one of them. Well done year 6. On behalf of the pupils and the year 6, I wanted to say thank you to Sandra (Catering Manager) and FOSP for providing the children with breakfast each morning last week- I think that made a difference!

Meeting a Princess…

We are delighted to be able to share the photos of Cally in year 2,who presented the Princess Royal with a posy last week, when she visited Plymouth. The Princess visited The Dental Research Facility at Derriford to carry out its formal opening. Cally had a conversation with the Princess and was also interviewed by Heart Radio. This was a superb experience for Cally- thank you for sharing it with us.

Sports Day…

Don’t forget Sports day on Tuesday 5th June, KS2 starts at 9.30am and Foundation and KS1 in afternoon, hopefully from 1.15pm. There will be refreshments on sale during the event, organised by FOSP. Hopefully you will have all received the lunch letter for the day. Please can you ensure your children have the correct PE kit in school for the day, they will also need to have a water bottle, sun hat and sun screen applied before school on the day, if the weather is good. If it is unpredictable weather please can you make sure your child has their coat in school. Thank you for your support with this.

Date for your diary…

Father/Grandfathers day lunch- Monday 18th June- details for this will come out after the holiday.

New Intake meeting.... Welcome

It was wonderful to welcome our new parents to school this week as the first part of their induction to St Paul’s. They were able to come into school, meet the team and have a tour of the school, seeing the wonderful learning that your children are doing.
