Spring Term 2

Mr Mudford and  Mrs Foweraker welcome you to the Year 3 page.
It was a pleasure to welcome your children into Year 3 this week, they
have started the term full of enthusiasm and interest and are excited to share all
the opportunities and events that lie ahead with you.
In English this term, we will be using  a book called 'How To Wash A Woolly Mammoth' to inspire
some instructional writing pieces.
In maths, we will be looking at money, shape and fractions. We will also be revising our number fact recall skills and times table knowledge everyday.

In theme we will be stepping back in time to learn about The Stone Age. The children will use their research skills to find out what life was like in the Stone Age, ordering events that occurred, designing and making their very own mammoth and creating fact files.
We are looking forward to all the exciting learning this term and
can't wait to share our new knowledge and skills with you!
